Hello Eric,
Well we are finally back home in the U.S.
We really enjoyed our tour with you. Everything was well organized and we didn't have any delays at all. At each stop, our guide and driver were waiting for us and we were briskly taken to our hotels or even right to sightseeing depending on arrival time.
1. Guide Service:
Regarding our tour guides. We loved Mr. Ha and Mr Toa. I thought Mr Dung was very knowledgerable, but did go on a bit too much and he had no sense of humor at all. Mr Savon in Cambodia could have presented himself a little better, he looked a bit untidy.
2. Driver Service:
All the drivers were pleasant and respectful.
3. Hotels & Breakfasts:
We really liked all our hotels but found a few of the big hotels especially in Cambodia extremely quiet, no tourists. Our favorite was in Hanoi because it was a small hotel with excellent service, each room had a computer and internet access. Our least favorite was in Hue, our room wasn't the best. Breakfast at all the hotels was fine, nothing out of the ordinary, but very nice. The Junk at Halong Bay was fantastic, we really liked that, but again way too much seafood for us and not much other choices.
4. Lunches and Dinners:
We were not fans of the included luncheons, not much choice and always seafood.
5. Pictures:
I will try and send some pictures as soon as I get them downloaded.
6. Reference(s):
We would highly recommend Indochina Odyssey Tours to everyone, please let us know if you want us to.
7. Others:
The highlight of the trip for me was Cambodia's Angkor Temples, just brilliant.
With best wishes,
Bridget
