Eric,

You have organized my trip well and I am happy with value for money. Only thing was that although lunch was supposed to be providing on the cruise on the second day, this was not so as the boat was trying to get back to port early for the next pick up.  When on land the tour guide has to call the agent for permission to organize a lunch for us.  I think you should rectify this for other customers.

1. What do you think of our guide service? Who impress you best and who impress you poorest?
Our guide Nguyen van Trang was excellent, spoke good English and was very knowledgeable.  He was always punctual and very helpful.

2. What do you think of our driver service?
The vehicles provided for land transport and the drivers were good.  The driver who took us to Ha Long was a safe driver.

3. What do you think of the hotel service and their breakfast? Can you please name the best one and the poorest one in your trip?
The Sofitel Metropole Hotel was top class.  Good service and good meals, breakfast and dinner.

4. Which meal makes you memorable? Please name the reason why you like or dislike it?
My most memorable meal was a meal at a Chinese seafood restaurant that the found close to the Hotel. Although the waiter did not understand or spoke a word of English we managed to get out orders through and the freshness of the seafood was very good. The meal was cheap and we had good value for money.

5. Would you mind sharing your pictures in the trip with us?

My pictures of Halong were the same as many I have seen in the advertisements.  The best views were from Ti Top Hill and the climb was worthwhile.  I have no outstanding pictures to share with you.

There were too many things included in the tour and due to the very hot weather, the day tour was very exhausting.  We have a very different outlook and understanding of the Vietnam people and culture.  Not having been there before we only heard the American side of the story.  Now we can appreciate more of Uncle Ho and who he was doing for his countryman.
Intime I will be in touch with you for a tour to HCM city and Angkor Wat.

Once again thank you for your organization.

Dr.Peter Lim.
