Cruise Excursion in Vietnam Ports

Dear Andrew,
 
We've arrived home safely after a very memorable vacation in south-east Asia.
 

We thoroughly enjoyed visiting Vietnam and found everything we saw and visited very interesting. The itineraries in both Danang and Ho Chi Minh City were great and the drivers did a good job of transporting us safely from place to place. Both drivers and tour guides were on time to pick us up at the ports. The tour guides were both very professional and knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us, BUT we did have trouble with their accents. At various sites we visited, we heard other tour guides speaking to their clients and had no problem understanding them, but our guides were difficult to understand. It was unfortunate, because it became very difficult to concentrate so hard all the time when they spoke to us. I understand that English is a very difficult language for Vietnamese people to speak, and that's why I made a point of telling you in my emails that I wanted to be sure that we would understand our guides, but unfortunately, that didn't work out.
 

I haven't yet had an opportunity to edit my photos and will get to it as soon as I can.
 
We will be in contact when next we plan to visit south-east Asia.
