Are you ready for the very first Vietnam cooking lesson? This morning, after breakfast in your hotel, a professional chef from Ho Chi Minch City's high-end restaurant will take you shopping in the local market for some food ingredients. Class begins with a brief introduction to Vietnamese food and cooking process by the chef. Today, you will cook your own lunch, making it a special day for your Vietnam holiday! Have lunch at the cooking class.
In the afternoon, we will take an excursion to the Cu Chi Tunnel: Cu Chi was an important base during the American War because of its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters, and weapon factories. Dug out by hand tools without the use of cement, this amazing network was only recently opened to Vietnam tour makers.

Have a free morning in Ho Chi Minh City, soaking yourself in its dolcefar niente tinge for a relaxing Vietnam holiday. Later in the morning, IOT's private van will drive our way to Mekong Delta. At Vinh Long pier, a private boat is waiting for you to embark a beautiful journey along Mighty Mekong's natural canals.
Countless islands stud Mekong Delta, and people are painting their own lifes from the river's arteries, which just walk right through your camera and become your percious Vietnam holiday memory.
Making a stop at Trung Luong Bonsai Garden for a tea break, the garden owner will be happy to serve you plenty seasonal fruits as well as his own stories. Later, we will change to a smaller boat that drills through thick jungles and gets to an other island where we can visit the popcorn cake, rice paper making family and have some snacks. Afterwards, your freshly-cooked lunch will be served in a fruit garden. Enjoy the original Mekong cuisine with fish sauce.
After lunch, we will be back to the big boat and go back to the pier, from where IOT's private van will take you to the waterfront town of Can Tho.

Mekong dwellers are never late for the early morning market, which means we will be up early to catch this wonderful event. Today, IOT's private boat will take you to the floating markets in Cai Rang and Phong Dien to observe how they begin the first day with touting and laughing. Later, we will row the boat to a lovely island for brunch with delicious tropical fruits and local cuisine.
In the afternoon, we will be driving back to Ho Chi Minh City. Kick back in IOT's cozy van, and enjoy the landscape passing outside the window. The rest of today will be at your own discretion.

Hoi An always kindles chefs' passion, which makes it a yummy stop for Vietnam tours. Today, we will have a cooking class held by an experienced chef.
First, you will meet the chef in the morning, followed by a shopping visit to the Central Market for cooking materials. After shopping, you will get on a boat rowing down the Hoi An River all the way to our riverside cooking school: Red Bridge Cooking School. Cooking class started with a boat trip? That must count something special for your Vietnam tours!
We will spend 2 hours at the school following the fine art of Vietnamese cooking. Normally, the class runs for about 1.5 hours and includes demonstrations from the school's chefs as well as the chance for us to help prepare some dishes. Included in the demonstration is a brief introduction to Vietnamese food carving (plate decoration). Enjoy your yummy day!

Morning transfer to Danang airport for flight to Hanoi.
Hanoi might not be like any other capitals you've ever seen, yet its bustling pace and swarming traffice will be stunningly interesting for your Vietnam holiday.
