Upon your arrival at the Noi Bai Airport of Hanoi, your private transfer will be waiting for you and then escort you to your hotel. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Today's tour begins with the Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum and Museum. Afterwards we will visit One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pogada and the Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam. The rest of the day will be yours to do some shopping or whatever at your preference. In the evening, you will enjoy the Water Puppet Show and very typical dinner in the Old Quarter. Please note: Uncle Ho has gone for his annual maintenance and the mausoleum is closed on Monday, Friday and whole October-November, but we will see the outside of the mausoleum then continue the program as listed.

Optional: Instead or visiting the Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum and Museum, which is closed on Monday, you may choose to visit the Ethnology museum where contains more than 10,000 objects, 15,000 black and white photos and hundreds of video tapes and cassettes which depict all aspects of life, activities, customs, and habits of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam. You will meet some of them one day later in Sapa, so it's a good chance to know them a little more of their customs.

Leave Hanoi at 8:00 for Halong bay, on arrival at Halong city at about 11.30am, get on a private boat (Bai ThoKim Hang). Have seafood lunch on boat while the boat cruising caves, grottoes, floating villages and beaches. Stop to visit Surprise Caves, one of the biggest, nicest caves in Halong Bay. Finish cruise about 15.30pm. Drive back to Hanoi and end tour at 19:00.
After some break, we will wave "goodbye" to Hanoi, take the night train to the border town, Lao Cai. Stay overnight at soft sleeper private cabin for 2.

It'll probably be a bit of a shock when we rouse you at five in the morning, but breakfast and the crisp fresh air of the mountains will soon wake you up.

Afterwards we take a morning drive through the clouds to Sapa (about 1.5 hours). When we arrive in Sapa you will be guided to a local restaurant for a morning shower & breakfast. Then we will take short ride from Sapa to our trekking base where we start our trek through terraced rice fields and Hmong villages. Chances to meet and talk with locals working in the fields are plentiful. We will break for a picnic lunch en route then continue trekking to Ta Phin village of the Dao people (about 4 hours). Your Dao host family will warmly welcome you to their traditional home where we will share in an ethnic style dinner and stay the night.

At the first of gleam of daylight, you will see and hear the sounds of morning village life. You can join them in some of their activities, like feeding the animals, cleaning the houses, gardening or preparing breakfast. After breakfast, you can choose to take a short morning wander around the village, or spend more time with the host family and other villagers. You will be supported by our car back to Sapa (30 min). When we arrive back in Sapa we will check in to the hotel, shower, and break. The rest of the day will be yours to be at leisure or to discover the secrets of this colorful town. Today we will enjoy the beautiful Silver Waterfall, which is about 100m tall, and you can even hike to the middle of the waterfall via a series of staircase. There is a bridge connecting 2 both banks of the waterfall, we may just cross over it and come down on the other side. From the bridge the view to the Sapa valley was very unique and impressive.

Afterwards, we will drive to Lao Cai to take the night train back to Hanoi. Stay overnight at soft sleeper private cabin for 2.

On your arrival at the train station of Hanoi, which is very early in the morning, around 5 am, we will meet you and take you to have breakfast, afterwards we will drive to the airport to take your flight to Hue (driver only), on your arrival at the airport of Hue, the local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to soak up the unique atmosphere of the city steeped in Imperial Heritage.

Optional: On your arrival at the train station of Hanoi, you may stay at a basic hotel (2-star basic) to rest & shower, before catching your flight at noon. $15/person will be charged for this service.

Start the tour with a visit to the Imperial Citadel; afterwards take a boat cruise on the Perfume Rive to the King Minh Mang Tomb, King Tu Duc Tomb and Thien Mu Pagoda. Stay overnight in Hue.

We take the pleasure to pick you up in the morning, and drive to Danang(driver only), where you will take the flight to the next destination, famed city for its white sandy beach, Nha Trang. On your arrival, the local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel; the rest of the day will be totally yours to enjoy the sunshine and sandy beach. Stay overnight in Nha Trang.

Free in the morning, after lunch. We will check out hotel, and take our way to Dalat (private transfer). Sitting in a car for about 3 hours can be boring, while we will visit Po Klong Garai Cham Towers en-route, which dated from the 13th century; also the lush rice paddies and vegetable fields are something worth the long drive. Stay overnight in Dalat.
