Wake up early in the morning, enjoy your breakfast with bird twittering. Later, we will drive for 2.5hours to Kampong Cham. Kampong Cham has long been known as the agricultural centre of Cambodia, also a famed spot featuring riverfront scenery and rural life for all Cambodia tours. Here in the town center, we will have a chance to get a glance at the Champa people's life routine and soak yourself in the lush shadow. Have some simple food for lunch in a local's house.
After lunch, we will drive to Kratie. This tiny town on the Mekong is an unexpected delight for your Cambodia holiday, with a relaxing, indolent atmosphere. The journey begins along the Mekong River basin through the villages of Sambok, Sre Sbov and Phumi Prek Preah. Further north stop at the best riverside vantage point from which to view the rare freshwater Irrawady dolphins which can be best seen under the setting sun.

Have breakfast in the hotel and then we will visit Kratie Pagoda and a local market and continue your Cambodia tours to Banlung – capital of Rattanakiri nicknamed 'The Red City' because of the omnipresent laterite. Have lunch en route.
After 5 hours, we will arrive in Banlung in the afternoon. Upon arrival at Banlung we transfer to your hotel for check-in. Free time at leisure resorting yourself from the long journey.

Banlung Early in the morning, sun shine will wake you up for another day of Cambodia holiday adventure! After breakfast, we will drive to Tonle San River. Along the river, we will pass by Tompoun Cemetery towards a small sandy island, where you can relax while having a picnic lunch.
After lunch, our trip goes on to a Tompoun Village and a Lao Village. Later, we will go back to Banlung.
In the evening, you are free to stroll around Yeak Loam Lake surrounded by pristine rainforest.

Your Cambodia holiday gets more interesting today. After breakfast, we will drive to a camp for an elephant ride around the villages with fields and slilted huts. Later we will go to Okatchagn Waterfall for a cool-off. Later, we will visit a hilltribe village before we head back to town.

Banlung - Kompong Cham After breakfast, we will drive back to Kompong Cham. On the way, we will pass Chhlong, a small and peaceful village on the Mekong River bank with Khmer and colonial architectures, the famous one of which is 100-Column House with many columns supporting the building. Later, we will visit Wat Nokor, an 11th century Mahayana Buddhist shrine made of sandstone, houses a large reclining Buddha and numerous cloves containing Buddha images. Have lunch en route.
We will arrive in Kompong Cham in the afternoon. Check in upon arrival and relax from the long drive.

  • - Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom - Siem Reap
Kompong Cham - Kompong Thom - Siem Reap We will leave Kompong Cham for Siem Reap in the moring, passing by Kompong Thom. We will stop at the archeological sight of Sambor Prei Kuk, which is dotted with hundred Pre-Angkor styled temples. The site, part of the Chenla Kingdom, includes an area of nearly 1000 acres enclosed by double walls, and hundreds temples and towers; its construction predates Angkor Wat by several centuries. The road conditions are very poor, but the spectacular scenery, with a mixture of temples and forest makes the hardship all worthwhile for your real experience Cambodia tour.Have lunch in a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will pick up the road trip. En route, we will visit another archeolocial site of Naga Bridge in Kompong Kdei.
We will arrive in Siem Reap in the late afternoon. Check in upon arrival. Relaxing walk in the ancient city.

Siem Reap In the morning, we head to visit Angkor Wat ruins,which is one of the major reasons so many Indochina travel fans go all the way to this laid-back country. Ta Prohm, one of the area's most beautiful temples. Neak Pean, a fountain built in the middle of a pool, Ta Som, built in late 12th century C.E. the most distant temple on the grand circuit, small but classic. Preah Khan Temple, Built by the King Jayavarman VII. Visit the unique interior brick sculptures of Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei (surrounded by 4 concentric walls) and Ta Keo, constructed in late 10th early 11th century. Have lunch in a nearby restaurant and then we will go back to Siem Reap.
In the afternoon, enjoy your free time in the town.

Siem Reap Cycling trip to visit Angko Wat is always for those Cambodia tour makers with the zest for new experience. Today, the 45-minute cycling will take us to Angkor Thom South Gate, Bayon, Baphoun, Elephant Terrace, Basei Chamkrong, Leper King Terrace, Royal Enclosure, etc. have lunch in a nearby restaurant.
In the afternoon, we board on boat in Tonle Sap Lake. Here, enjoy a boat ride passing by floating villages completed with schools, restaurants, and hospitals. We will be back to Siem Reap before sunset.
At night, we will attend a traditional Apsara dance. Known as Khmer Ballet, this art form nowadays is evolving around the lore of the apsaras, these celestial courtesans who may be found carved in the stones in Angkor Wat.

Siem Reap - Battambang Sparkling gem of your Cambodia tours, that is Siem Reap, it will say goodbye to you in the morning. We will take a boat trip westwards to Battambang, one of the most-sought-after Cambodia holiday destinations for world-wide travelers.We row our boat down the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh water lake in South East Asia, before entering the Stung Sangker River.  Have lunch in the boat while the picturesque view fliting behind you.
After 7 hours, we will arrive in Battambang. Check in upon arrival. Free time at leisure.

No one would leave Battambang without giving the bamboo train a try, which has already become an icon of Cambodia tours in Battambang. This morning, we will drive up to the 'station' for our ride. The bamboo train has been set up by the villagers to facilitate the transportation of goods and people. The train in itself is very basic – one platform on 4 wheels activated by a small motor. Sitting on the platform we travel the 8km to the next station through beautiful landscape and rice paddies. On arrival, we visit a village and discover the daily life of the Cambodian countryside, then an hour's ride to the hill of Phnom Bannon (337 steps) and its temple, Prasat Bannon, 7th century, which stands atop mountain that reach by a long staircase. From there, you can also admire the beautiful scenic landscape of villages. Visit Wak Kor Village. We depart for Phnom Penh by IOT's private van.
We will arrive in Phnom Penh in the late afternoon. Check in upon arrival and free time on your own.

Phnom Penh - Takeo - Kampot

This morning you will leave Phnom Penh and head south to visit Tonle Bati where you can explore the small yet picturesque Angkorian temple of Ta Prohm. On the banks of the nearby river are a line of bamboo shacks with hammocks, a great place for a relaxing drink. We will get on our car to the quiet town of Takeo before taking a short boat trip to Angkor Borei Town, located just a few kilometer navigation from the Vietnam border. There is a small museum which displays several reproductions of sculptures from the nearby ruins and few artifacts dating as far back as the 4th century. After this, we continue our boat trip to visit a pre-Angkorian style temple of Phnom Da and a nearby temple of Asram Maharosei. The steepy path over some big rocks makes Asram Maharosei different from other temples in Cambodia, definitely a piece of unusual memory for your Cambodia tours. You then continue southwards following the picturesque drive to Kampot. The southern coast of Cambodia, edging the border with Vietnam, once served as a glamorous seaside resort for the French in the early 1900s.Check in upon arrival and free exploration afterwards.

It's Bokor Mountain that makes this small town of Kampot so famous among those Cambodia tours buffs. Today, we will sense its magic in person.A drive of 35KM leads us into the lush jungle scenery to the cooler summit hill station. The Bokor Hill Station was originally developed as a playground for the colonials and Khmer elites in the early 20th century. However, as with much of Cambodia, Bokor's destiny was changed by the rise of the Khmer Rouge, the area has seen too many severe battles and today people can still smell the gunfire in the pock-marked and shattered building remains. On our way back to Kampot, you will visit a durian plantation, which might not be friendly to your nose but definitely pretty to your eyes. Have lunch in a local restaurant.

Today we have a half day free for relaxation. Off the beach you can rent a boat to explore the nearby coastal islands or the Ream National Park which is well known for the mangrove forest and the eco-system.
In the early afternoon we depart Sihanoukville for Phnom Penh and traverse the spectacular rural landscape.
