Itinerary Details:
Highlights: Minority villages in Longsheng of Guilin and Sapa, you will have chance to explore their charming culture, beautiful dresses and unique customs.
Day 1: Arrival Beijing
Upon arriving at the Beijing airport, your local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to relax or step out into this amazing metropolis for an adventure on your own.
Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
On this day you will first visit Tiananmen Square followed by the magnificent Forbidden City. In the afternoon you will marvel at the incredible Temple of Heaven.
Day 3: Beijing-Xian (overnight train) (B, L)
This day's tour will include the magnificent Great Wall (Juyongguan section) and the Sacred Road. On your way back from the Great Wall, you will drive around the architecture of the main Olympic venues, the National Stadium (Bird's Nest) where the Opening and Closing Ceremonies were hold, and the National Aquatics with the nickname of "the Water Cube" for its unique design. Feel free to take some beautiful picture of those stadiums after 2008 Olympic Game. In the evening, take an overnight train to Xian.

Day 4: Arrival Xian (B, L)
Arrive at Xian in the morning. Your local guide will wait for you at the exit of station and escort you to hotel for breakfast. Then you will first visit the incredible life-size TerraIOTta Warriors and Horses,after lunch, visit the Banpo Museum. Dinner is on your own.
- TerraIOTta Warriors: discovered in 1974 by local farmers digging a well, the warriors were one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. The over 6,000 life-size painted terraIOTta warriors and horses individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history, Emperor Qin Shihuang, for over 2,200 years.
- The Banpo Museum: discovered in 1953, it is the actual archaeological village representing 6000-year-old Neolithic Yangshao culture that is renowned for its colorful ceramics.
Day 5: Xian (B, L)
After breakfast, you will tour Ancient City Walls and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. In the afternoon, you will visit The Great Mosque and Muslim community.
- The Ancient City Walls: built during the 14th century on Tang dynasty foundations, date to the Ming Dynasty, the walls are the largest and best-preserved ancient fortress in the world. There is a gate in each of the four sides, the gate towers built over each gate look lofty and magnificent and form a tight defense engineering system.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: regarded by many as a symbol of the city, the pagoda was built in 652 A.D in Tang Dynasty to house the sutras brought back from India by the famous monk Xuan-zang.
- The Great Mosque: the largest mosque in Xi'an and one of the four grand Islamic mosques in China with more than 1200 years' history, the mosque possesses not only traditional Chinese architectural style, but also features peculiar to Islamic mosques and now it is a major spot for religious activities of 50,000 Muslims in Xi'an.
Day 6: Xian-Guilin (B)
On this day you will be free until your guide escorts you to the airport for your flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival at Guilin, the most scenic city in China, our local guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free at your own leisure.
Day 7: Guilin-Longsheng (B, L)
Today's excursion will bring you to Longsheng Autonomous County, drive back to Guilin after the tour (about 2-hour drive).
-- 90kms northwest to Guilin, the County lives many different ethnic minority groups such as Zhuang, Yao, Miao and Dong etc. In recent years, this county has gradually become a popular destination for photography enthusiasts and people who are interested in minority culture. On this tour you will not only enjoy the wonderful view of terraced rice paddies--the most famous section is called "Longji", lush bamboo groves and small villages on the hillside along the way, but also be amazed by the rich culture of the Zhuang and Yao people.
- Longji: means "Dragon's Backbone". When climbing to the top of it and looking down at the nearby terraced rice fields, you will have the feeling that you are standing on the dragon's back as the terraced rice paddies look like the shining scales of the dragon.
- The Zhuang People: with over 17 million people, Zhuang is the largest ethnic minority group in China.
- The Yao People: Yao is another major ethnic group living in Guilin area that has a population over 2 million all over China. Yao women are believed to have the longest hair in the world.
Day 8: Guilin-Guangzhou-Hanoi (B, L)
Today's excursion will bring you to the Elephant Trunk Hill and the Reed Flute Cave before your transfer to the airport for your flight to Guangzhou and then fly to Hanoi (21:20/22:00). You are warmly welcomed by our Tour Guide at Noi Bai airport and transferred to your hotel.
Day 9: Hanoi City Tour (B, L)
Start at 8:00 from your hotel by car to visit Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum and Museum, One pillar pagoda, Tran Quoc pagoda. After lunch, visit to Temple of Literature, the first university of Vietnam, Army museum (or Art museum, History museum, Women museum is at your choice), Hanoi Flag Tower. Wonder around Hoan Kiem Lake then visit Ngocson Temple and enjoy one hour cyclo trip around the trading area in Hanoi Old Quarter. Tour end about 16.30 pm

Day 10: Hanoi-Halong (B, L, D)
Leave Hanoi at 8:30 for Halong Bay, on arrival at Halong city at about 12:00. Upon arrival, get on a private boat cruising around Ha Long Bay with a delicious local seafood lunch, passing Dog island, Incense Urn island, Ga Choi island, Finger island, Hoa Cuong island and visit Surprise Cave. Have dinner and overnight on boat.
Day 11: Halong- Catba National Park (B, L)
After breakfast, the boat shall move to isolated place for kayaking, and then be transferred to the hotel in Catba town, drive to National Park and take a short trek up to the mountain to enjoy the overview of Catba National Park and Halong bay. Overnight in Catba Island.
Day 12: Halong - Hanoi-Sapa (B, L)
Free time on beach before taking an express boat back to Haiphong and visit Duhang pagoda. Come back to Hanoi. Take overnight train to Sapa in the evening.
Day 13: Sapa - Ban Ho village (B, L, D)
Arrive Laocai at 6:00, take a transfer to Sapa. Freshen, relax and get to Ban Ho village to meet and talk with Tay, Zay people. Continue trekking to Nam Tong to enjoy daily life of Red Dao people. Free time to explore the daily life at night in Ban Ho village. Overnight in Ban Ho village
Day 14: Ban Ho - Supan - Sapa (B, L)
Take a car to Bacha then to Cancau market to earn a living of ethnic people as well as to visit Trek to Supan village of Tay people enjoy view and take a transfer back to Sapa, stop at Hau Thao village of Black Mong people on the way. Have lunch in Sapa and take a short trek around to visit Cat Cat village. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 15: Sapa - Silver Waterfall - Tafin - Hanoi (B, L)
After breakfast, take a private car to visit Silver Waterfall, Heaven Gate, enjoy beautiful mountainous view. Have picnic lunch on the way then visit Dzao, H'mong people in Tafin village before transferring to Laocai train station for night train back to Hanoi.
Day 16: Hanoi
Arrive at Hanoi in the morning, drive to hotel for rest and have a free day around Hanoi.
Day 17: Hanoi-departure (B)
Say goodbye to Vietnam and take memorable experience back home.
