Itinerary Details:
Day 1: Arrival Hanoi (D)
You are warmly welcomed by our Tour Guide at Noi Bai airport and transferred to your hotel. Be free and relax after long journey. In the evening, attend Water Puppet Show and enjoy welcome dinner. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2: Hanoi - Mai Chau (B/L/D)
Traveling to the province of Hoa Binh, we pass through a region of spectacular limestone mountains and tea plantations to arrive in Mai Chau. We spend the night in a village long house of Thai minority in Lac village, experiencing their wonderful hospitality, traditional dancing and rice wine.
Day 3: Mai Chau - Hoa Lu - Hanoi (B/L/D)
Leaving the people of the mountains behind, we drive through rural countryside to the 10th Century capital of Hoa Lu to visit temples of King Ding & Le. Continue to visit the magnificent grotto of Tam Coc, also known as "Halong Bay on land", we navigate the river's limestone outcrops by rowboat, discovering the ancient temples before heading back to Hanoi.
Day 4: Hanoi-Halong Bay (B/L/D)
Leave Hanoi at 08:00 for Halong bay, The World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, embark a junk cruising around Halong Bay. Enjoy seafood lunch on boat, then a Breath-Taking cruise in Ha Long bay starts. Great photo opportunities of shaped islands like Dog island, Incense Burner Island, Fighting Cock Island and so on. Visiting Sung Sot cave and have a swim at Titov beach or taking steps for view tower. Enjoy sunset19h30: Dinner is served. Relax, drinking or fishing at your pleasure before spending first night on board.
Day 5: Cruise (B/L/D)
07h00: Breakfast is served07h30: Another wonderful cruise toward islets in shape of Man's head, Tortoise. Visit Luon cave by a small-row boat. Next, the cruise heading to Ba Trai Dao beach for a swim and relaxing on the sandy beach.12h00: Lunch is served13h00: Visit Ba Ham lake (Selected according to the tides)14h00: Free time at leisure. Day 6: Halong - Hanoi-Lao Cai (B/L)
7h00: Tea or coffee is served with cake7h30: Cruising through Bai Tu Long bay to see Teapot, Chopstiks islands and Poem mountain09h30: Check out 09h45: Enjoy a lunch on board11h00: Arrive in Ha Long pier. Get on bus back to Hanoi. Take the train to Sapa. Stay overnight on the train.
Day 7: Lao Cai - Sapa (B/L)
Arrive at Lao Cai train station at about 6.30. Take a transfer to Sapa. Check in at the hotel and freshen up after a long trip with breakfast in the good weather of Sapa, then, visit Sapa town. In the afternoon, take a 2km short trek to Cat Cat Village, the home of H'mong minority, have dinner at local restaurant. Overnight in Sapa town.
Day 8: Sapa (B/L)
Enjoy easy hiking tour along lanes of beautiful village: go to visit some villages to meet and talk with Giay people (a minority in north of Vietnam) and to explore their daily life. You also can enjoy the wonderful view of terrace of Sapa.
Day 9: Sapa-Lao Cai-Hanoi (B/L)
Short drive to visit Lao Chai and Ta Van Villages, home of H'mong and Day ethnic. Enjoy slope rice field, bamboo valley, rustic villages and villager's daily work along the way. Return to Sapa and take a transfer back to Lao Cai station for night train to Hanoi. Stay overnight on train.
Day 10: Hanoi-Hue (B/L)
Arrive at Hanoi in the morning. Start visiting Hoan Kiem lake, the lake of the Restored Sword, our architecture and our way of life with small streets and its name "Old quarter", Tran Quoc pagoda and Quan Thanh temple. Lunch at local restaurant. Then, visit Van Mieu, the first national university of Vietnam, Ethnology museum. In the late afternoon, take flight to the Imperial City - Hue City.
Day 11: Hue (B/L)
Following the late morning visit at the Imperial City of Hue and our hotel. In the afternoon, we take a leisurely cruise by royal dragon boat on the Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda's stone steps, our boat waits as we climb the stairs to explore one of Viet Nam's oldest and most revered Pagodas. Gliding through the clear waters we arrive at the majestic and serene tomb of King Ming Mang. Free time for shopping at Dong Ba market in the late afternoon.
Day 12: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An (B)
Before leaving Hue, we glimpse the regal splendour of a time now past as we walk the cobbled paths through the grounds of the imposing Imperial Citadel and Forbidden Purple City. We continue our road trip to Da Nang, where the Museum of Cham Sculpture displays carvings from a once powerful and prosperous civilization. Arriving into the old merchant town of Hoi An, the heritage streets beckon exploration. Be tempted by the art galleries, hand crafted woodwork, ceramics, lanterns, embroidery and tailor shops where an entire wardrobe can be made overnight.
Day 13: Hoi An - Quy Nhon (B)
This morning we enjoy a guided introduction to Hoi An, where restored shop houses, Chinese Assembly Halls, Japanese Bridge and shared water wells paint a vivid story. Boarding on our bus, we travel down the Highway No. 1 and pass through landscapes filled with lush rice fields and spectacular costal scenery before arriving into Qui Nhon for our overnight stop.
Day 14: Quy Nhon - Nha Trang (B)
Hugging the dramatic granite cliffs our road takes us through the picturesque beach and fishing village of Dai Lanh to Nha Trang. We are free enjoy the beachfront and swim or relax in the shade of a thatched umbrella or swaying coconut palm, and take advantage of a massage and manicure.
Day 15: Nha Trang (B/L)
A visit to the imposing 7th century Cham Tower of Po Nagar is followed by a tour of the Oceanographic Institute's staggering collection of aquatic flora and fauna. At Ben Da harbour we board our boat and cruise the island dotted turquoise waters of Nha Trang Bay. Bobbing boats and swaying nets can be observed as we sit down to a sumptuous lunch of the freshest seafood at the Mieu Island fishing village.
Day 16: Nha Trang - Da Lat (B)
Leaving the golden sands behind, we visit the remarkable Cham Towers of Poklon Garai before commencing our ascent into the mountains of the South Central Highlands. Panoramic views of the costal plains pine clad mountains and crisp cool air herald our approach to the scenic French Hill Station of Da Lat.
Day 17: Da Lat - Ho Chi Minh City by plane (B)
In the morning, we have time to explore Da Lat's, stairways and cobbled lanes, colorful central market, beautiful flower gardens, tranquil lake and grand French villas. As we descend from the 'City of Eternal Spring'
In the afternoon we take the plane to the frenetic bustle of Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 18: Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)
We are engulfed by the dynamic energy of Ho Chi Minh City as we explore historic landmarks including Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral and the former US Embassy. As we enter the Chinese District of Cho Lon, home to the largest wholesale market in Viet Nam, the energy is palpable and respite from the frenetic activity is found within the ornate walls of Chinatown's oldest Pagoda, Thien Hau. Continue to visit the War Museum before ending the day-tour at Ben Thanh market for shopping.
Day 19: Tay Ninh - Cu Chi (B/L)
A drive to Tay Ninh, near the Cambodian border, allows us to witness the hypnotic noontime service and eclectic architecture of the Cao Dai religion. In the afternoon we explore the phenomenal underground tunnel network and former Viet Cong stronghold at Cu Chi, before returning to Ho Chi Minh City.
Day 20: Ho Chi Minh City - Can Tho (B/L)
At 8:00 AM Pick up at your hotel in HCMC. Depart for My tho. Take the boat ride through the Bao Dinh natural canal, view the stilt houses and the fruit plantation along the river sides. Visit the My Tho wholesale fruit market. Proceed to the Tortoise island. Lunch served in the heart of the orchard. Enjoy the nice boat ride through the Tan Thach natural canal in Ben Tre, cruise under the shadow of the water coconut trees. Visit the family where you can experience the agricultural lifestyle. Trekking through the fruit plantation in Thoi Son island, enjoy the rowing boat ride along the creeks before returning to My Tho by motorised boat. Proceed to Can Tho. Dinner on guests' account. Overnight at your proposed hotel in Can Tho. ( Family home stay will be arranged on request ).
Day 21: Can Tho - Vinh Long - HCM City (B/L)
07:00 AM After breakfast, take the morning boat trip to visit the Phong Dien floating market with the busy sence right at the time. Keep cruising through the small chanels system, visit the rice noodles making viallge. Experience the " monkey Bridge " in the Delta. Visit the second floating market of Cai Rang. Break time for lunch. Return to Hochiminh city via Vinh Long to visit the local snake market.
Day 22: Ho Chi Minh City - Phom Penh (B/D)
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. Meet and transfer to the hotel.
In the afternoon, you will visit Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and National Museum & Central Market. Have dinner and overnight in Phnom Penh.
Day 23: Phnom Penh - Siem Reap (B/L/D)
In the early morning, transfer to Phnom Penh boat port or airport to transfer to Siem Reap. Lunch at local restaurant upon arrival then transfer to hotel for check in and relax. Then take a romantic view of sunset from the top of Bakheng Hill. Have dinner at local restaurant and overnight at hotel in REP.
Day 24: Siem Reap - Angkor Ruins (B/L/D)
After breakfast, visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Baphoun, Terrace of Elephants, Terrace of Leper King and Phimean Akas temple. Have lunch at local.
Afternoon, transfer to visit the famous temple of Cambodia, Angkor Wat. Have dinner with exotic Apsara dancing show & overnight in REP.
Day 25: Siem Reap-Hanoi (B)
Morning is free to you until escort you to airport for flight to Hanoi.
Day 26: Hanoi-Departure (B)
Before our guide escort you to airport, you may have some time to explore the Old Quarter in Hanoi around the trading area.
