Do Son Beach


 

The beach attracts tourists from all over Vietnam and is cleaned regularly in a government-led effort to boost the local economy. The colorful fishing boats at the dock can give you some excellent shots. Do Son town is famous for its ritual buffalo fights, the finals of which are held annually on the 10th of the eighth lunar month. Legend has it this ritual is to commemorate the date when the leader of an 18th-century peasant rebellion was hilled here. Do Son also boasts Vietnam's sole casino, which serves foreigners only.
