Vietcombank (824 572; 78 Ð Hung Vuong) has an ATM and exchanges travellers cheques and foreign currency. There’s another Vietcombank branch (30 Ð Le Loi; 7am-10pm Mon-Sat) located at the Hotel Saigon Morin. You can find a Vietcombank ATM (Ð Luong The Vinh) outside the Imperial Hotel and another Vietcombank ATM (5 Ð Le Loi) located outside La Residence Hotel.

Dangers & annoyances
Hue is a safe destination to travel to, although some petty crime and scamming of tourists do occur. Keep your wits with you and you should be fine. English is not commonly spoken in Hue. Some knowledge of French might help you, though.
