Recently, the international news network CNN has published a list of 23 cities it considers having the best street food. Three Southeast Asian cities-Bangkok of Thailand, Bali of Indonesia and Ho Chi Minh City of Vietnam are among the list, in no particular order.
CNN mentions it's impossible to avoid street food in Bangkok. The street food in Bangkok is distinctive and various, such as phad thai noodles (a stir-fried rice noodle dish), grilled satay (tender grilled meat with peanut sauce, and cucumber salad), hoy tod nai mong (a crisp fried mussel pancake), Kuay tiew kai soi sai nam phung (noodle soup with chicken wing stew with young egg and pork intestine), etc. The place recommended by CNN for street food in Bangkok is Yaowarat, the main thoroughfare in Bangkok's Chinatown.

Ho Chi Minh City is the largest city in Vietnam. According to CNN, pho and Banh mi (the baguette served with a selection of meat including pates, sausage, and shredded pork skin) are typical street food in it. Pho with the clear broth and warm noodles is regarded as one of the world's greatest comfort food. Travelers are also suggested to visit Pham Ngu Lao Street, which is a place close to many attractive sites like Ben Thanh market and the Ho Chi Minh Fine Arts Museum, to have BBQ pork.

Bali belongs to a province of Indonesia, which is made up of the island of Bali and a few neighboring islands. Its fascinating surroundings and diverse attractions draw visitors all around the world.
