Air China to Launch Beijing - Chiang Mai Flight
From November 7, Air China will launch a new air route connecting Beijing, the capital of China, and Chiang Mai, a major tourist destination in Thailand. There will be 3 flights flying between Beijing and Chiang Mai each week and all of them are new Boeing 737-800. The flight number is CA823/4.
The Chiang Mai-bound flight is scheduled to depart from Beijing at 18:30 p.m. and arrive in Chiang Mai at 22:40 p.m. The return flight will be departing from Chiang Mai at 23:45 p.m. and arriving in Beijing at 5 a.m. (all local time).
Important Note: Beijing has introduced visa-free transit policy. Travelers from 45 countries will be able to stay in Beijing for 72 hours without a visa when taking an international transfer via Beijing. So if you're planning a trip to Thailand, why not take advantage of this visa-free policy to explore the ancient capital of Beijing which is home to some of the finest remnants of China's imperial past?
