  Touching down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport, greeted by our hospitable guide for the private transfer to your hotel. Check in and have the rest day at leisure, staying in your room to recover from jet lag or walking out for a light adventure.

• Day 2: Kuala Lumpur

  Spend the day discovering the inspiring capital of Malaysia.

  Skim over the King's Palace in Islamic style, glimpse into the country's diverse culture and history at the National Museum, and scan the majestic buildings around Independence Square and the Moorish-style railway. There is also a stop to photograph the magnificent Petronas Twin Towers. After the tasty lunch at a local restaurant, return to the hotel and have some leisure time shopping around.

• Day 3: Kuala Lumpur - Malacca

  Leave the young capital and move south for about 2.5 hours to historic Malacca. It was via the Strait of Malacca that exotic goods from the east were shipped to the west along the ancient Spice Trade Route.

  In the UNESCO-listed old town, you will see buildings of different styles that came with the spice trade, like St. Peter’s Church - a Roman Catholic donated by a Dutch, the Portuguese Porta De Santiago, and St Paul's Church, the Dutch Administration Office, and the Chinese Cheng Hoon Teng Temple. Afterward, take a stroll through the bustling Jonker Street.

• Day 4: Malacca - Kuala Lumpur - Penang

  Have some leisure time to explore more in Malacca as you wish, and then take a two-hour drive back to Kuala Lumpur Airport for your flight to Penang.

  Landing in Penang after an hour, be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. After settlement, explore the nearby food street on your own and try to find your favorite from a dizzying array of delicacies.

• Day 5: Penang

  Start your exploration of Malaysia's food paradise from an authentic Wet Market, where local life restarts after a night of slumber. Continue with a stroll through Chinatown, Little India, and a flea market to browse historic buildings, taste exotic food, and seek unique souvenirs marked by diverse cultures.

  In the afternoon, proceed to Kek Lok Si, a celebrated Buddhist temple to marvel at its myriads of Buddha images, murals, and sculptures. Then, take a scenic funicular up to the summit of Penang Hill to capture panoramic views of George Town and the east coast of Penang Island.

• Day 6: Penang - Langkawi

  Have the morning at your disposal. You may like to join a cooking class and learn to cook some popular Malaysian dishes.

  In the afternoon, take a short flight to Langkawi and escape the urban uproar for a few days. Upon arrival, be greeted by our local representative and take a comfortable vehicle to your hotel.

  The next couple of days is yours to take in the laid-back air and natural beauty of Langkawi. You can bath in the warm sunshine on a nearby beach, take the Sky Cab up the Machinchang mountain for spectacular views of the surrounding waters and islands, or participate in a group tour to discover colorful flora and fauna and vibrant villages in Kilim Karst Geoforest Park.
