Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok

The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the surroundings at your own pace. With the Songkran Festival approaching, you may notice the festive atmosphere beginning to fill the city.

Day 2: Bangkok, Songkran Festival Celebration
Begin the day with a serene experience as you witness the morning chanting ritual performed by Buddhist monks at Wat Pho. Continue with a tuk-tuk ride through the vibrant Pak Khlong Talat Flower Market before arriving at the Grand Palace, Thailand's most magnificent royal monument. With your guide, explore its rich history and dazzling architecture, including the revered Wat Phra Kaew, home to the Emerald Buddha.
In the afternoon, board a traditional long-tailed boat to cruise along Bangkok's network of canals (klongs) and observe daily life along the waterways.
Later, join in the celebration of Thailand's most important festival - Songkran, the Thai New Year. At Siam Square, you will find the city alive with excitement as people splash water in a spirited atmosphere that symbolizes washing away the misfortunes of the past year. Day 3: Bangkok, Floating and Railway Markets
Travel outside the city to explore two of Thailand's most distinctive markets today. Begin with a boat ride through the narrow canals of the renowned Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, where colorful boats laden with tropical fruits, local snacks, and handicrafts create a lively scene. You may sample some Thai street food along the way.
Continue to the Maeklong Railway Market, where stalls line the train tracks and vendors skillfully fold away their goods each time a train passes through. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon, with the evening at leisure to relax.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
This morning, leave behind the bustling capital and take a short flight to Chiang Mai, a city known for its relaxed pace and cultural richness. Upon arrival, meet your local guide for a private transfer to your hotel. After check-in and some time to refresh, head into the surrounding mountains to visit a Meo Hilltribe Village. Here, you may encounter villagers in colorful traditional attire and gain insight into their way of life.
Continue with a scenic drive up Doi Suthep Mountain, then climb the 309-step Golden Naga staircase to reach Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai's most iconic temple. From the hilltop, enjoy sweeping views of the city, made especially magical at sunset.

Today, start with a visit to Worarot Market, where a stroll through the lively stalls offers a glimpse into the daily life of local residents. Continue with a walk through the well-preserved Thapae Gate, one of Chiang Mai's historic city entrances, before exploring two of its most significant temples - Wat Chedi Luang and Wat Phra Singh. At Wat Phra Singh, you may have the opportunity to observe traditional Songkran rituals, such as building sand pagodas in the temple grounds and pouring water over Buddha images as a symbolic act of purification and blessing.
