  Upon your arrival in Bangkok, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own.

• Day 2: Bangkok City Highlights

  Following breakfast, set out to visit Wat Traimit, 'Temple of the Golden Buddha' famous for its 900-year-old and five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image. Continue to explore Wat Po, this city's largest and oldest temple housing the largest single Buddha image - the Reclining Buddha. After lunch, come to the highlight of today's tour - the renowned Grand Palace, one of the must-sees that adjoin Wat Phra Kaew, the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

• Day 3: Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok

  This morning you will enjoy a boat cruise to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. Lunch is on board. Arrive at Wat Chong Lom Pier at around noon. Afterward, continue to visit the Bang Pa-In Summer Palace, Wat Yai Chai Mongkhon, Wat Phra Mahathat, and Wat Mongkhon Bophit. This afternoon, you will be escorted to your hotel in Bangkok.

  Be transferred to the airport for flight to Phuket. Upon arrival, you will be met and escorted to Club Med Phuket by a driver from the hotel. Free to enjoy the leisure time at the Club Med at your own pace.
