  This morning, set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace). Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) are absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.

  Today, you will enjoy a full-day Mekong Delta Tour with visiting villages and markets.

  Today, you will be free before flying to Hue. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and the rest of the day is at leisure.

• Day 5: Hue City Tour

  After breakfast, you will visit the majestic Minh Mang Tomb erected in 1840. Later, sail the Perfume River by Royal Dragon Boat to the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda, the tallest one in Vietnam. Transfer to visit Imperial Citadel with cobbled paths and tour the Forbidden Purple City, a walled fortress and palace in the former capital. After that, absorb the energy, sounds and odors of the bustling Dong Ba Market.

• Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

  After breakfast, head for Hoi An while enjoying the view of the coast and Da Nang from the top of Hai Van Pass on the way. On arrival in Da Nang, visit Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum which has a fascinating collection of rare works of art, and the famous Marble Mountain. Continue to drive to Hoi An in the afternoon, check into the hotel, and have some free time on your own.

• Day 7: Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary - Hoi An

  This morning, go to the My Son Sanctuary to see the remains of the Kingdom of Champa. After lunch, drive back to Hoi An to explore 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchant's house.

  The rest of the day is left for you to explore this charming town on your own.

• Day 8: Hoi An Cooking Class

  This morning, you will take a join-in group cooking class in Hoi An. After the class, sit down and enjoy what you have cooked. Later, drive back to the hotel. The rest of the day is yours to do some shopping or just relax at the hotel.

• Day 9: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hanoi

  This morning, head to Da Nang airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and start the tour, including Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's House on Stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Later, explore the Old Quarter by cyclo. Last stop is the serene Hoan Kiem Lake to enjoy a traditional water puppet show.

• Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay

  Today, you will enjoy a rich Halong Bay cruise.

  After a 3-hour scenic drive to Halong Bay, check into your private cabin and start a fascinating cruise. Besides that, admire the picturesque scenery, visit the Vung Vieng Fishing Village and enjoy optional activities like kayaking, swimming, diving, etc. Relax and spend a romantic night on the boat.
