Day 1: International Arrival, Ho Chi Minh City
Welcome to Vietnam! Upon arrival, your guide and driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnel - Ho Chi Minh City
In the morning, drive to Hoc Mon district to visit the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnel constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the long struggle for independence.
In the afternoon, begin a city tour on foot from the Saigon River past the Opera House, Town Hall. Then visit Reunification Palace and the famous Ben Thanh Market, where you can find 'real Vietnamese foods' and various nice things to shop.- B L

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - My Tho - Can Tho
Head for My Tho to take a boat trip on Tien River, visit My Tho Fish Market and four islands. Then ride a cart along one of the most beautiful villages to Mr. Muoi Hai's house to enjoy honey tea. You'll also have a chance to row on a sampan along Mekong River.
Afternoon, get in a private vehicle driving to Can Tho. Later enjoy some leisure time on your own.

Day 4: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City - Hue
Today you'll have a boat cruise on glittering streams along the endless waterway of the mighty Mekong River to Cai Rang Floating Market before heading back for Ho Chi Minh City airport for your flight to Hue. Have a good leisure time on your own after check-in.

Day 5: Hue Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will first visit the majestic Tomb of King Minh Mang, then sail the Perfume River by Royal Dragon Boat to the serene Thien Mu Pagoda.
Later, transfer to visit cobbled paths through the grounds of the Imperial Citadel and tour the Forbidden Purple City. Absorb the energy, sounds, and odors of the bustling Dong Ba Market.

Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An
After a relaxing breakfast, head for Hoi An while enjoying the view of the coast and Da Nang from the top of Hai Van Pass on the way. When you get to Da Nang, visit Non Nuoc Beach and Cham Museum, in which relics and artwork dating back 1,000 years or more are on display. Upon arrival in Hoi An, the rest of the day is at your leisure.

Day 7: Hoi An Stroll
Breakfast at the hotel. Get a real feel for this tiny town by taking a light excursion to the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, the renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchants' houses. Your guide will tell you all the stories behind these historical relics.
Board a boat and sail along the Huai River to Thanh Ha Pottery Village. At every turn, you can see local people working on their crafts that have been handed down through generations.

Day 8: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hanoi
Free in the morning and transfer to Da Nang airport to fly to Hanoi in the afternoon. The rest of the day is at leisure on your own.

Day 9: Hanoi Sightseeing
Today, start a deep tour to Ho Chi Minh Complex including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts, Presidential Palace, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Quan Thanh Temple. Later, proceed to the interesting Museum of Ethnology, a research center and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam. Then have a rickshaw ride along the narrow streets of the Old Quarter. The last stop is the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake where you can watch a traditional Water Puppet Show in the afternoon.

Day 10: Hanoi - Halong Bay
Today you are going to enjoy the stunning Halong Bay cruise. It starts with a 3.5 hours' scenic drive from Hanoi to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay, where you can see nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea and traditional sampans and junks sail the glinting water, grottos, thick forests, and hidden coves, it will be a real ocean adventure! A variety of optional activities on board like kayaking, swimming, diving will definitely add more fun to this trip.

Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Luang Prabang
Continue your unforgettable Halong Bay cruise. You will enjoy your brunch before disembarking the cruiser at around 10 am. When the cruise ended, your guide and driver will meet you at the pier then drive back to Hanoi airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Have a good rest when getting there.

Day 12: Luang Prabang Sightseeing
Today you will enjoy a cruise on the Mekong River with an exploration of the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, a cave temple with a huge stalagmite resembling an elephant's head. Stop at Ban Xieng Lek and Ban Xang Khong where traditional crafts including weaving paper and drum making are still practiced. Climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred stupa as well as capture a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. Also, you will have a chance to venture the night market and observe local life there.

Day 13: Luang Prabang Sightseeing
If you like, observe the alms-giving procession in the early morning at 5:40, from which you'll have an understanding of local people's piety towards their religion. After that, set for the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong and Wat Visoun. Tour the Royal Palace Museum (which will be rescheduled if it happens to be Tuesday, the close day) then drive to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls, a paradise which to fill your lungs with fresh air and serves as a wonderful chill-off site.
