Itinerary

• Day 1: International Arrival, Hanoi

  Upon your arrival in Hanoi, our guide will greet you and escort you to InterContinental Hanoi Westlake in the downtown area for hotel check-in. Rest of the day is yours to relax.

• Day 2: Hanoi - Sapa

  In the morning, uncover Hanoi by visiting some historical sites, including the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Quan Thanh Temple. After lunch, proceed to the Museum of Ethnology to see an extensive display on Vietnam's 54 ethnic minority groups and enjoy a cyclo trip around the Old Quarter and the Hoan Kiem Lake, before relaxing in a theatre nearby for a wonderful Water Puppet Show. After the show, you will be escorted to the train station for an overnight train to Sapa.

• Day 3: Sapa Sightseeing

  You'll arrive at Lao Cai train station at 4 or 5 am, then transfer to Sapa Victoria hotel for a specially arranged early hotel check-in. After a short rest to freshen up and have breakfast, we will take a leisure stroll around the local markets and Ta Van Village, to capture the bustling morning and the rural life. In the afternoon, trek to the hill tribe villages to get a close look at local people's life.

• Day 4: Sapa - Hanoi

  This morning continue your Sapa trip to visit Silver Waterfall, which offers nice scenery of green hills and clear water. Later move to another less-stepped site - Heaven Gate before going to Tafin Village of Dzao, where you’ll have a picnic lunch en route. After today's tour, head for Lao Cai train station for an overnight train back to Hanoi.

• Day 5: Hanoi - Halong Bay

  Arrive in Hanoi at around 5:30 am. Transfer to Sofitel Hanoi Hotel for breakfast and have a short rest (Note: No room booking. If you need room booking and early check-in, a one-night room rate surcharge is required). After a short rest, take a 3-hour scenic drive to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay and begin your deluxe Au Co Cruises tour to Halong Bay and Bai Tu Bay. While cruising, visit the wheel house and engine room, get a guided tour of Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. Later, back to the ship to join activities onboard and enjoy the body massage (1 hr) and jacuzzi for two people (30 mins).

• Day 6: Halong Bay Cruise

  Enjoy Taichi before breakfast, then get a rowing boat tour to Vung Vieng fishing village in 1 hour before cruising towards Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island for walking excursion in the national park of Cat Ba Island and visit The Au Co organic farm. After experience exciting swimming and kayaking in Viet Hai Lagoon, go back to the boat for activities onboard: Happy Hour for two hours (half price drink), relaxing at Lan Ha bar, and squid fishing.

• Day 7: Halong Bay - Hanoi

  Continue to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Halong Bay while having breakfast and joining a Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony. After that, disembark the Au Co Cruise, be escorted to have lunch and get back to the in InterContinental Hanoi Westlake Hanoi city (about 4 hrs' drive). Rest of the day is on your own.

• Day 8: Hanoi, Departure

  After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time on your own before transferring to the airport for your international flight home.
