Welcome to Thailand! On arrival in Bangkok, we will meet you and take you to the hotel. After check-in, the rest of the day is at leisure.
Following breakfast, set out to visit Wat Traimit, ‘Temple of the Golden Buddha’ famous for its 900-year-old and five-and-a-half-ton solid gold image. Continue to see Wat Arun, perhaps better known as the Temple of the Dawn, which is one of the most published images of Bangkok.
After that, explore Wat Po, this city’s largest and oldest temple housing the largest single Buddha image: the Reclining Buddha.
After lunch comes the highlight of today’s tour - the renowned Grand Palace, one of the must-sees that adjoins Wat Phra Kaew, the most important Buddhist temple in Thailand.

After breakfast and check-out, you’ll be picked up at the hotel and depart for Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. The first place you’ll visit is Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful Summer Palaces in this country. Followed by a tour to Wat Yai Chaimongkhol, in which you can observe one of the biggest Reclining Buddha Images as well as the ruins of the old Grand Palace & temples.
At noon, transfer to the pier for a cruise down Chao Phraya River back to Bangkok, during which you will be impressed by the Thai rural life along the river. Lunch is served on board.
Enjoy dinner on your own choice before we take you to the airport for your flight to Chiang Rai. On arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel for a good rest.

In the morning, we will take you to the border village Mae Salong, which is fascinating for its resemblance as a small slice of China. After a relaxing stroll, we will go to Wat Phra Singh, one of the most visited and significant temples in Chiang Rai. Drive to Mae Sai Border (migration fee THB 500 on your own for one day crossing to Myanmar). Later, we make a rest stop at the Golden Triangle in Chiang Sean, where the three borders of Myanmar-Laos-Thailand meet.
After breakfast, drive to the boat pier for a boat trip to Thaton. The boat trip will take about 2 hours, along the way we will visit the Karen Hill Tribe Village. When the boat trip ends, we will drive to visit the Long Neck Tribe. Have lunch at Maekok river village. Then drive up to Thaton Temple for a full view. Transfer to Chiang Mai and free at your leisure.Overnight: Chiang Mai
