Itinerary

• Day 1: International Arrival, Ho Chi Minh City

  Upon your arrival at the airport, your tour guide will greet you and escort you to your hotel. Check in and have some free time to recover from the jet lag.

• Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City - Cu Chi Tunnels - Ho Chi Minh City

  This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace). Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office, and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) are absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.

• Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City

  After breakfast at the hotel, you will take a special one day Mekong Delta tour with a homemade meal today.

• Day 4: Ho Chi Minh City - Hue

  Be free till it is time to the airport for the flight to Hue. Upon arrival, our guide will escort you to the hotel, check in and you will be free to enjoy the night of Hue.

• Day 5: Hue Discovery

  A full day to discover this ancient city! Start with the majestic Tomb of Minh Mang that is erected in 1840, then sail the Perfume River by a Royal Dragon boat to the tallest pagoda in Vietnam - Thien Mu Pagoda. Transfer to visit the Imperial Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City, get close to the significant ruins of this former capital and feel its glory in the old days. Later, visit the bustling Dong Ba Market and end today's tour.

• Day 6: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

  Head for Hoi An in the morning. En route enjoy the view of the coast and Da Nang from the fantastic of Hai Van Pass (a winding coast high way). In Da Nang, enjoy a half day tour to visit the Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum which has a fascinating collection of rare works of art, and the famous Marble Mountain. Arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, check in and have some free time on your own.

• Day 7: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

  This morning depart for My Son Sanctuary to see the remains of Kingdom of Champa. After lunch drive back to Hoi An, visit the 400-year-old Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchants' house to learn more about this ancient town. Rest of the day is yours to explore Hoi An in your way.

• Day 8: Hoi An - Da Nang - Hanoi

  Head back to Da Nang this morning for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, our guide will meet you and escort you to the hotel for check-in. Later discover this city by visiting the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's house on stilts and One Pillar Pagoda. Proceed to tour the Old Quarter by cyclo, visit the serene Hoan Kiem Lake and enjoy a traditional Water Puppet Show, a favorite experience for all visitors to Vietnam.

• Day 9: Hanoi - Halong Bay

  In the morning, take a 3-hour scenic drive to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay and begin your deluxe tour to Halong Bay and Bai Tu Bay. While cruising, visit the wheel house and engine room and get a guided tour of Sung Sot (Surprise) Cave. Later, back to the ship to join activities onboard and enjoy the body massage (1 hr).

• Day 10: Halong Bay Cruise

  Enjoy Tai Chi before breakfast, then get a rowing boat tour to Vung Vieng fishing village in 1 hour before cruising towards Lan Ha Bay and Cat Ba Island for walking excursion in the national park of Cat Ba Island. After experience swimming and kayaking in Viet Hai Lagoon, go back to the ship for activities onboard: Happy Hour for two hours (half price drink), relaxing at Lan Ha bar, and squid fishing.

• Day 11: Halong Bay - Hanoi

  Continue to enjoy the picturesque scenery of Halong Bay while having breakfast and joining a Vietnamese traditional tea ceremony. After that, disembark the cruise, be escorted to have lunch and get back to the in InterContinental Hanoi Westlake Hanoi city (about 4 hrs' drive). Rest of the day is on your own.

  Enjoy some leisure time in Hanoi before transferring to the airport for your international flight back home.
