Day 1: International Arrival, Bangkok
Welcome to Thailand! On arrival in Bangkok, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide at the airport and then be transferred to the hotel for check-in. You'll have a good rest then to get rid of the jet lag.

Day 2: Bangkok Sightseeing
Today, prepare yourself for a lovely Bangkok city! Walk around the bustling flower and vegetable market to feel authentic local life. Later, go to the impressive Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew inside the palace.
After lunch, your guide will take you on a long-tail boat trip along the canal to get a lovely view of the city. Finally, make a stop at Wat Arun, one of the most published images of Bangkok.

Day 3: Bangkok - Ayutthaya - Bangkok
This morning, drive to Ayutthaya, the former capital of Thailand. The first place you'll visit is Bang Pa-In Royal Palace, one of the most beautiful Summer Palaces in Thailand. Afterward, head to Ayutthaya Historical Park for a cultural heritage exploration. Your tour guide will take you to explore the highlights of this park, including Wat Mahathat, Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wihan Phra Mongkhon Bophit.
After the tour, you will be driven back to Bangkok.

Day 4: Bangkok - Chiang Mai
After breakfast, check out and leave for Chiang Mai by flight. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and take a short rest at noon. Then ride up the well-paved, winding road till you reach the magical staircase leading to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, a highly revered temple that sits on the top of Mount Doi Suthep overlooking Chiang Mai.
Optional: For a real slice of Thai cuisine and culture, you can enjoy an optional Khantoke dinner meanwhile watching a cultural show for the night (at your own expense).

Day 5: Chiang Mai Elephant Park Tour
Have you ever met an elephant? Touched one? Fed one? Bathed one? Played with one? You will today. Leave your hotel at between 8:30 and 9:00 and take a 50-minute trip north to Baan Chang Elephant Park, an ethically run, sustainable eco-park and refuge. Get up close and learn all about these wonderful creatures. Not only can you feed them, but you get to prepare their favorite lunch!
Finally, a favorite part of the Elephant Day Care experience is meeting the lovely baby elephants in the nursery area.

Day 6: Chiang Mai Sightseeing
The tour today will be started with a cooking lesson, including shopping at the local market and be taught how to make authentic Thai cuisine by a selected chef. Your excellent work serves as your lunch! The rest of the day is your leisure, enjoy it!

Day 7: Chiang Mai - Chiang Rai
Today, you will go to Chiang Rai and stop off at the Hot water for relaxation. Later, have lunch there at a local restaurant. After lunch, drive to the Golden Triangle in Chiang Sean, where the three borders of Myanmar-Laos-Thailand meet. The last site you will visit is Long Neck Karen Village.

Day 8: Chiang Rai - Chiang Khong - Houayxay - Pakbeng
After Breakfast, check out and drive to Chiang Khong, a district in the northeastern part of Chiang Rai. Then cross Khong River by boat to Houayxay checkpoint.
On arrival at Houayxay in Laos, your Laos guide will help you apply for Laos visa. When the visa is ready, board the cruiser leaving Houayxay Pier for a cruise down the Mekong River to Pakbeng.
En route, a pullover is made to observe the rural lifestyle of Ban Gon Durn, the weaving village along the Mekong River. A buffet lunch is served on board. The boat arrives at Luang Say Lodge before sunset for the overnight stay.
Dinner is served on the terrace overlooking the Mekong River.

Day 9: Pakbeng - Luang Prabang
If you like, explore Pakbeng Market in the early morning before breakfast, where people from the surrounding village of minorities have exotic goods on sales. After check-out, the Luang Say boat will take you for the first stop, Ban Baw, where to observe the process of making traditional rice alcohol. A buffet lunch is served on board. The boat stops again opposite the mouth of the Nam Ou River to visit Pak Ou Caves, a sacred Buddha shrine. You'll arrive in Luang Prabang before sunset.
Upon arrival, your guide and driver will meet you at the pier and then transfer to the hotel for check-in.

Day 10: Luang Prabang Sightseeing
If you like, observe the alms-giving procession in the early morning then visit the Phousi Market or Morning Market, where people from the surrounding villages have exotic goods on sales, such as dried buffalo skin, local tea, and saltpeter among the chickens and hill-tribe weavings.
In the afternoon, a half-day city tour will bring you to the Royal Palace Museum, the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong which is said to be the religious emblem of Luang Prabang, stupa of Wat Visoun that houses many Buddha images, and the shrines of Wat Aham and Wat Mai.
Before sunset, climb up to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa as well as capture a beautiful view of the city and the Mekong River at sunset. Also, you will have a chance to venture the night market and observe local life there.

Day 11: Luang Prabang Sightseeing
After breakfast, drive to Kuang Si Waterfall, be amazed by the 60 meters high cascade and fill your lung with fresh air. On the way, you can pay a visit to the Lao ethnic minority groups - Ban Ouay Village, Ban Ou Village, and Ban Thapene Village, where the primitive lifestyle is preserved very well. Have a relaxing picnic lunch nearby the falls then you will be transferred back before dusk.

Day 12: Luang Prabang - Siem Reap
After breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time on your own before heading to the airport for your flight to Siem Reap. In the evening, enjoy Apsara Dinner Show, which offers an interesting, colorful and fun show along with excellent buffet style meal.

Day 13: Siem Reap Sightseeing
After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to the famous Angkor Thom Complex and be wowed by its South Gate, Bayon Temple, and Elephant Terrace, etc.
Get ready for an incredible afternoon with a visit to the jaw-dropping beautiful Angkor Wat. At the neighboring Bakheng Temple, you will have a beautiful sunset view of the distant Angkor Wat in the jungle, which is listed as one of 'Top20 Most Beautiful Sunset View in the World' by CNN.

Day 14: Siem Reap Sightseeing
Today, you'll immerse in ancient Cambodian temples at your pace. First is the Banteay Srei, serene with detailed decorative carvings, which is certainly worth the ride.
En route, pay a visit to some local villages. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Next, head to Ta Prohm Temple and Takeo Temple, the former is a beautiful temple bound by massive roots of huge trees while the latter, a famous Hindu temple of the Angkor complex.

Day 15: Siem Reap - Phnom Penh
In the morning, start from a tour to the Khmer Village and enjoy a peaceful sight of the rice field and palm trees dancing with fresh air. Then board on a boat in Tonle Sap Lake, from where you can observe the daily life of floating villages.
Later, travel to Phnom Penh by air. Upon arrival, your guide will greet you at the airport and then escort you to the hotel for check-in.

Day 16: Phnom Penh Sightseeing
After breakfast, you will visit the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, National Museum and Wat Phnom (an ancient Buddhist temple worth a visit to escape from the hustle & bustle of the city busy street), all are within close distance.
In the afternoon, pay tribute to the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and the Killing Fields of Choeung EK, the two sites are good for learning Laos' history. The evening is free at leisure on your own.

Day 17: Phnom Penh - Bangkok
Breakfast at hotel, enjoy your free time then be transferred to the airport for your flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, your guide will meet and escort you to the hotel for check-in, with time later to relax on your own.
