Itinerary

• Day 1: Arrival, Hanoi

  Welcome to Vietnam! Upon your arrival in Hanoi, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to get rid of the jet lag.

• Day 2: Highlights of Hanoi

  Today you will visit Hanoi City attractions including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Ho Chi Minh House on Stilt, One Pillar Pagoda, Tran Quoc Pagoda, and Quan Thanh Temple. 

  In the afternoon, visit the Museum of Ethnology and take a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter of Hanoi (about 1hr). Next stop is Hoan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple and then enjoy a Water Puppet Show to learn more about Vietnamese traditional culture.

• Day 3: Hanoi - Ninh Binh

  Morning drive to visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital city of the Dinh Dynasty and Bai Dinh pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in Vietnam. After lunch, take the amazing boat trip to visit Trang An grottoes.

• Day 4: Ninh Binh - Halong Bay

  Today you will drive to the World Heritage site of Halong Bay, where you can see nearly 2,000 limestone islands dot the sea and traditional sampans and junks sail the glinting water, grottos, thick forests, and hidden coves, it will be a real ocean adventure! A variety of optional activities like kayaking, swimming, diving will definitely add more fun to this trip.

• Day 5: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Dong Hoi

  Today continue your unforgettable Halong Bay cruise until a big brunch is finished and then disembark the cruiser at around 10:30 am. Your guide and driver will meet you at the pier, and then transfer you to the airport in Hanoi (around 3 hours) and fly to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, be picked up and escorted to your hotel for check-in.

• Day 6: Dong Hoi Sightseeing

  Transfer to Phong Nha National Park this morning, and then board your private boat for the 1.5km cruise down the Son River to the Phong Nha Caves. You will enter the mystical tunnels filled with mighty stalactites and stalagmites and visit the Paradise Cave before returning to Dong Hoi.

• Day 7: Dong Hoi - Hue

  Leave Dong Hoi for Quang Tri Province - Visit Vinh Moc Tunnels - The Old DMZ (Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone) - Hien Luong Bridge Ben Hai River, the Border between the North and the South of Vietnam. Then, you will be transferred to Hue.

• Day 8: Imperial Heritage of Hue

  After breakfast, you will first visit the Royal Tomb of King Minh Mang. Then sail the Perfume River by Royal Dragon Boat to the seven-storey Thien Mu Pagoda. Transfer to visit Imperial Citadel with cobbled paths and tour the Forbidden Purple City. Later on, absorb the energy, sounds, and odors of the bustling Dong Ba Market.

• Day 9: Hue - Da Nang - Hoi An

  After a relaxing breakfast, you will head for Hoi An. On the way, stop to visit Hai Van Pass, Non Nuoc Beach, Cham Museum, and Marble Mountain. Have lunch at Da Nang local restaurant before going to Hoi An town. Arrive in Hoi An in the afternoon, check in to your hotel and have some free time on your own.

• Day 10: Hoi An - My Son - Hoi An

  This morning depart for the My Son Holy Land to see the remains of Kingdom of Champa. After lunch, drive back to Hoi An to visit Japanese Bridge, renowned Chinese Temple, and former Vietnamese merchant's house. Then enjoy some leisure time in the ancient town.

• Day 11: Hoi An - Da Nang - Ho Chi Minh City

  You will have free time till your guide meets you and escorts you to Da Nang airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you and escort you to your hotel. The rest of the day is on your own.

• Day 12: Cu Chi Tunnels & Ho Chi Minh City Highlights

  This morning set out for the incredible underground Cu Chi Tunnels, and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City to visit the War Remnants Museum and Reunification Palace (the former Presidential Palace), Ben Thanh Market, Old Saigon Post Office and Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat) absolutely nice choices for a free stroll.

• Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City - Mekong Delta - Ho Chi Minh City

  Today, your driver will drive you to Caibe to enjoy the one day Mekong Delta Tour with Cycling. Return to Ho Chi Minh City at 4:00 pm.

• Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City, Departure

  You will have free time till your guide escorts you to the airport for your homebound flight.
